Once your piece has dried, our team carefully trims it, fires it in the kiln, glazes it in the colour of your choice, and fires it one more time to make it strong, beautiful, and ready for everyday use.

We offer our TRY THE WHEEL for $75 per person. We have three wheels at the moment. We offer our Wee wheels for an hour at $49 per person. They are available on a walk-in basis.
We offer a two hour time slot to TRY THE WHEEL. These slots must be booked ahead of time.

It might look easy (thanks, pottery TV shows!), but learning to centre the clay, shape it, and watch it rise beneath your fingertips is part of the fun. Every wobble, wiggle, and wonky masterpiece is all part of the creative journey, and trust us, even the pros had to start somewhere!
Our instructors will guide you step by step as you learn to centre, open, and shape your clay into a bowl, mug, or other unique creation. No experience is necessary, just come ready to have fun and embrace the occasional splash of muddy water!
Once you've finished throwing your piece, we'll take care of the rest. Your pottery will dry, be fired in the kiln, glazed in the colour of your choice, and fired once more before it's ready to come home.
After you've proudly admired your freshly thrown masterpiece (and snapped a few photos!), your clay creation stays behind for its very important spa treatment. First, it slowly dries until it's ready for its first trip into the kiln.
Round One: The Bisque Fire
Our kiln transforms your soft, fragile clay into strong ceramic. Your once-squishy creation is now sturdy enough to be handled and glazed!
Round Two: The Colour Glow-Up
Next, we dip or brush your piece in the glaze colour you've chosen. Before firing, the glaze often looks dull, chalky, or even like a completely different colour—don't panic! That's totally normal.
Back into the kiln it goes! As the temperature rises, the glaze melts into a smooth, glossy, glass-like finish, bringing your pottery to life with rich colour and beautiful shine.
The Grand Reveal
After a slow, careful cooling process, it's finally time to open the kiln. This is our favourite moment! Every firing is like opening a surprise present. We never get tired of seeing each unique mug, bowl, vase, or masterpiece emerge from the heat.
The best part? A lump of clay that once spun between your hands has become something beautiful, functional, and completely one of a kind.
